Are you ready to move forward in faith? Living Faith Boston is committed to investing the truth and life of God’s Word into faithful men and women who, once trained, are able and willing to live out and teach others what they’ve been taught. Discipleship, as modeled by the Lord Jesus Christ himself, goes way beyond a classroom or simply listening to sermon after sermon until you can repeat it. It’s about learning the Word of God in an accountable setting where through the exchange of life a person is trained, sharpened, and challenged to know and live what the bible says.
For those who have counted the cost, we start by pairing up faithful believers with more seasoned faithful believers who act as mentors in the faith – examining the scripture for the purpose of learning to be obedient to what it says in life. We want to establish faithfulness to Worship, God’s Word, the Lord’s Work, and God’s People.
Our long-term goal with every faithful believer is to train them up, in the environment of a local church while living real life, to have the character, commitment, and consecration that it takes to be leaders in the Lord’s work. We do so by engaging those ready for this step into real ministry training while doing life together just like Jesus did. This culminates in our 4-year Living Faith Bible Institute, which is a rigorous mix of learning what the bible says, mixed with a continuation of the laboratory style training of ministry worked out in our local church.
At Living Faith Boston, we are committed to obeying the great commission found in Acts 1:8, and Matthew 28:18-20. The Bible tells us in doing so that we are to preach the gospel here and all over the world, and then train up our faithful who will be able to bring others along the path to do the same (2 Timothy 2:2). As we Discover what the Bible says, and then learn to be Disciples of the Lord Jesus, we do so to bring glory to the name of Jesus Christ.
To that end, we seek to Deploy those faithful men and women into the community and around the world – in our local church, in and around Boston, New England, and beyond – to express God’s message of hope and life, serving others, and helping them to discover who God is, be discipled, and be deployed in the work of the Lord.
